La Baixada is the latest Estate Wine from prestigious Priorat winemaker Alvaro Palacios. The design needed to be coherent with the winery's previous wines, but also express the unique characteristics of the new addition.
La Baixada - the descent, in Catalan - takes its name from the steep slopes where the grapes are grown. In collaboration with Extratype, we created bespoke lettering for the wine which subtly highlights this landscape, as the word itself visualizes its own meaning.
